Hi, I’m Ash Jayy!!
My love of romance started with movies, not books. As a teenager i spent every friday night at my grandma’s house and we would watch hallmark and lifetime movies together. Those are some of my favourite memories from childhood.
In early adulthood i picked up my first romance book and found the same joy i experienced sat on my grandma’s sofa in the pages of the books i was reading
My career so far...
I’ve worked in the publishing industry since 2020 as a freelancer in various roles such as content creator, social media manager, social media strategist and influencer marketer. I’ve run campaigns for some of the most popular romance books and authors of the 2020s.
BookTok is my specialty
BookTok is my specialty
I have experience working across tiktok, instagram, threads and youtube. However, my professional specialty is booktok. I’ve been a part of the booktok community for over five years and have spent that time developing relationships with other creators and learning the strategies that work best on the platform.
In 2025 i wrote a dissertation titled the booktok effect which looked at the impact that booktok has had on the wider romance publishing industry and i used my research to help me develop the work i do for the picture of romance.

Social Media Mentoring
Social media mentoring offers 1:1 support to help authors to develop and implement sustainable social media strategies.
Creator Campaigns
Creator campaigns help authors to connect with readers who will read and make social media content about their books.
A statement from our founder
This agency is anti-ai, anti-ice and pro-palestine. If you do not agree with these three statements? This community is not the place for you. We are not open to discussion or debate on this.
We do not work with any authors who use ai in any aspect of their work and we have a zero tolerance policy for any acts of bigoted behaviour in our community.
This is an agency and community founded by a disabled, queer, trans man and in this space marginalised voices and their stories are prioritised and celebrated.
Although we are now based in the uk, we acknowledge that the idea for this agency was developed on the traditional land of the haudenosaunee confederacy and the stockbridge-munsee band of mohicans.
